The Sinking Teeth - Temporary Living (12/11/2013)
Temporary Living is the ball tearing first single from Melbourne rockers The Sinking Teeth. Sitting somewhere between Shihad and Les Savy Fav, Temporary Living rocks hard though it’s the soaring melody that really steals the show here.
The sound is as organic as the band’s humble beginnings in a shady pawnshop in Brunswick, it feels untouched, simply a band having a good time. Coming in at little over two and a half minutes, the trio squeeze a lot of gusto into a short amount of time that leaves the listener aching for another taste.
The Sinking Teeth have been cutting their teeth in clubs/pubs/parks/drainage ditches around Melbourne for only a short while, though the application is evident and there is no doubt this group is ready to step into the national conscience.
