Art Of Sleeping - Above The Water (02/08/2012)
This Brisbane outfit have done it again. Proving they are not a one-hit-wonder who stumbled upon gold accidentally when they created anthemic, solid first single 'Empty Hands', Art of Sleeping have released another addictive pearler.
This band will make huge waves nation-wide, and maybe even internationally. You read it here first. (Well, actually, you read it here first: [link to 'Empty Hands' review?].
Frontman Caleb Hodges has a strong, distinctive vocal style, and sings like he means it. If his on-stage presence is as commanding as his melodic, jagged-edged voice, an Art of Sleeping live show is surely one to write home about.
'Above The Water' builds throughout Hodges' passionate war-cries and layered drums to a spine-tingling crescendo, and you will hit repeat.
