Sunsets - Make It Happen (12/11/2013)
Make It Happen seems to be a lax approach to hardcore, removing the typical breakdown and hard hitting sound Brisbane band Sunsets seem to possess a more punk pop feel.
With Vibe City acting as a party anthem, the song is quite upbeat and easy to listen to, yet doesn’t neglect to throw a few screams in for good measure.
The whole Ep sticks to the usual feel of the punk pop genre with the bashing of drums and catchy, sing-a-long lyrics which is expressed well within It Ain’t Easy Bein’ Hebezy.
Riddled with group chants throughout each song, Sunsets have made sure to be as inclusive as possible, making them a great contributor to any mosh-pit or party.
Finally Ponyboy Curtis sticks out from the rest of the bunch and in a good way, it demonstrates that Sunsets have a little more variety to their sound and aren’t a one trick pony.
